Welcome to the 28:20 Spark Of Hope blog. Today is going to be a short, sweet, and simple blog post. Anyways, lets get started!
During the summer of 2021 I was blessed with the chance to volunteer as a STM (Short Term Missionary) in South Texas. During this camp I got to meet the Worship Pastor for the camp. He and I got to talk quite a bit during the week. Anyways, he wrote most of the songs we sang throughout the week, most of them were directly from scripture which was awesome! Now these songs were so catchy that the lyrics, tune, and rhythm will be stuck in your head for many years to come.
Now you maybe wondering how a guy who writes songs that get stuck in your head for years has to do with a Christian inspirational blog? Im glad you asked! God's word should be like these songs. His words and promises should be stuck in our heads and we should be able to say them to others in a minutes notice. Then if we can do that these verses and promises from God will get stuck in other people's heads. Also remember (I know this maybe off topic) that the biggest movements in World History always start with one person standing up for something they believe in! So imagine what could happen if we had a new generation of youth that stood up for their faith in God and brought others to know Him! The entire world would know His name, then it would be their choice what to do with that information.
Anyways, the Challenge Question for today is: What Verse are You Going to Memorize? and Who are You Going to Share That Verse With?
